Book 1, Chapter 10 - The Place That Remembered Itself
Chapter Ten — The Place That Remembered Itself
The TARDIS arrives somewhere that should not exist.
Here, cause and consequence have crossed.
Objects appear before they are lost. Records describe events that have not yet happened. A child returns something to Ava two hours before she drops it.
The inhabitants have adapted to a world where tomorrow can leave evidence in yesterday.
But beneath the strange routines lies something more dangerous.
The place is not merely experiencing broken time.
It is remembering itself into existence.
As the Doctor and Ava investigate, they must determine whether they are witnessing a paradox, a surviving fragment of the Loom — or the beginning of an entirely new relationship between memory and reality.
